Think of an elite sports athlete training for their biggest career moment like the Olympics, World Cup or International race meet. We all know it takes them years of hard work and dedication to reach their peak performance goals with hours of training and sacrifice. Now think of their training days as equivalent to our school days. Do you think they would be where they are right now at the peak of sport if they had poor attendance at those training sessions? It's those minor details that add up day after day to help our students achieve.
When students improve their attendance rates, they improve their academic prospects and chances for graduating, living a life of choice and getting a job!
As we reach assessment time at school we understand students are stressed and some may not want to come to school, however, these are the days that count the most for your children. Without attendance on these days, we cannot accurately assess students and therefore we will not know if your child needs support in particular areas.
Without good attendance we cannot offer support. Without good attendance we cannot teach. Without good attendance we cannot learn to our potential. Without good attendnace we cannot grow. Without good attendance we cannot help our students reach their full potential.
