PBL Update
What a wet start to the term! There have been several days where the oval has been out of action. This week we will see Moriarty Football (soccer) return on Wednesday and Friday at both breaks for all students to participate in.
This fortnight's expectation has been I Respect learning: Listen, Learn, Participate. Keep an eye out around the school for new signage to appear over the next few weeks.
Pause Update
Students are still working through all the Pause lessons that make up the program. This week is Mindful Listening and RAS parts of the brain. Mindful listening helps us choose which sounds to focus our attention on and helps us to be thoughtful in the way we hear and respond to the words of others. The RAS is like a sorting system in the brain. The five sensors send information into the RAS and the RAS sifts through the information and only lets the important information through to the Prefrontal Cortex, Amygdala and Hippocampus.
Other Information
If you have any of last year's uniforms, shoes and bucket hats clogging up space, please send them in. They will be very cherished and loved.
