Term 2 is already in full swing and we started with a cracker 95% and above party last week. The attendance dance party hosted 341 students from Prep-Year 6. Congratulations to all students who attended and celebrated this awesome achievement. Thank you to the parents, carers and families who supported our students to get them to school every day. We couldn't do it without you!
Every day counts. Please contact the school if your child is away, otherwise you will receive an electronic text message from us. We want to be sure that all of our students are safe and well at all times. If your child is unwell, please keep them at home until they recover. If you are having issues getting your child to school, please contact the office and we will support you.
Our attendance target is 95% and we are currently sitting at about 86% as a whole school. With our weather conditions being very wet and some parts of our town flooding, please be careful getting to and from school. Tracy, our FLO, will again track our attendance this term to see how we progress as a school. Fallon, our ARTIE Ambassador, along with Tracy, work closely with Mulungu and other agencies to ensure that we send the same message to all families about the importance of attendance.
Term 2 is always busy with lots on, and we look forward to another fabulous term of learning with you and your child/ren.
