The Reading Café is up and running for Term 2! The Reading Café runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30am– 8:55am in the library. This is the perfect opportunity for students to come along and practice their reading in a supportive environment.
Students are rewarded with a small cup of Milo every time they visit the Reading Café and every 10th visit earns them a cupcake. For our Prep students, every 5th visit earns a cupcake.
A big thank you to our volunteers who regularly turn up to listen to students read. We have grandparents, staff members and older students who are available for students to read to each morning. Without their assistance the Reading Café could not operate!! If you would like to volunteer at our Reading Café please feel free to contact the ladies at the front office who will pass our contact details onto you.
Also, a big thank you to everyone who has donated Milo, long life milk or cupcakes to the Reading Café. Donations are always appreciated 😊
